F2000PLUSB

Built for high-volume production environments, the ABM heavy-duty patty forming machine combines power and versatility in a compact, reliable package. Its 1 HP (.75kW) motor drives a fully synchronized drum and conveyor at variable speeds, reaching up to 3,600 cycles per hour — more than double the output of the entry-level model — while maintaining consistent, precise portioning across a wide variety of meat and food products. Operator control is built into every detail, from the foot switch that starts and stops the former and conveyor, to the stainless steel feed paddle, manual wire drum cleaner, and included cleaning tilt stand that make daily maintenance straightforward. With a 25-liter hopper holding approximately 35 pounds of product and a standard 15⅜" conveyor belt, the machine is designed to keep production moving with minimal interruption. Like all ABM patty formers, it requires no specialized dismantling tools and carries both NSF and ETL certifications. A full range of drum shapes are available separately, including standard round molds up to 5.12" in diameter, double and triple configurations in oval, rectangular, and square, and specialty shapes such as fish, cutlet, chicken nugget, heart, and pork chop. Product weight is easily adjusted by changing the mold die depth up to 1¼" — giving operators the flexibility to adapt quickly without downtime.

Upgrading to the SPECIAL model includes the longer conveyor, larger hopper, pneumatic wire cleaner, and a standard paper attachment, with no wheeled support table.

common questions
We’re here to answer your questions.
Who is the F2000 PLUS B designed for?
Chevron down icon
The F2000 PLUS B is built for processors and grocers that need more capacity and consistency than entry-level patty forming equipment can provide. The machine comes with variable speed and a foot pedal, making it the easiest and most efficient machine for one person to operate.
What products can the machine form?
Chevron down icon
The machine can produce a variety of formed products using available mold and drum configurations, from hamburger patties to sliders, sausage patties, links, squares, ovals, or portioned out "pucks" that can be quickly rolled into a meatball.
How does the F2000 PLUS B improve production efficiency?
Chevron down icon
The machine automates patty production, allowing grocers and processors to produce consistent products significantly faster than manual methods while reducing labor requirements.
Can the machine produce uniform product weights?
Chevron down icon
Yes. One of the biggest benefits of automated patty forming is weight consistency, which helps control food costs and reduce product giveaway. The machine does not weigh the patty and ultimately the weight will depend on the meat mixture, diameter of the drum, and thickness of the drum.
Why is product consistency important?
Chevron down icon
Consistent patties improve cooking performance, customer satisfaction, packaging appearance, merchandising, and inventory control.
Is the machine suitable for supermarket meat departments?
Chevron down icon
Yes. Many supermarket production rooms use automated patty formers to improve efficiency and maintain consistent product presentation.
Can operators quickly change product styles?
Chevron down icon
Yes. Available drum configurations allow processors to switch between different product sizes and styles to meet changing customer demand. Drums can be changed in less than 30 seconds, giving the ability to maximize product offerings to customers.
Does automation reduce labor requirements?
Chevron down icon
Yes. Many customers transition employees from repetitive manual forming tasks to higher-value activities, such as expanding product offerings.
Is the machine easy to maintain?
Chevron down icon
The F2000 PLUS B is designed for the realities of commercial food production, making routine cleaning and maintenance straightforward. If the machine does need service, ABM has a network of authorized dealers ready to help assist and get your operation up and running.
What certifications does the F2000 PLUS B carry?
Chevron down icon
The F2000 PLUS B is NSF and ETL certified.
What industries commonly purchase the F2000 PLUS B?
Chevron down icon
Meat processors, butcher shops, commissaries, supermarket chains, and food manufacturers commonly use this machine.
Can the F2000 PLUS B help increase profits?
Chevron down icon
Many customers increase profitability through higher production rates, improved consistency, reduced labor costs, and lower waste.
Why choose the F2000 PLUS B over hand-forming?
Chevron down icon
Hand-forming can create inconsistent weights, uneven appearances, and labor bottlenecks. The F2000 PLUS B helps standardize production while increasing output and reducing labor dependency. Additionally, the F2000 PLUS B maintains the gentle "hand forming" desired consistency, unlike other machines on the market that over compress patties.
